Thoroughly Modern Millie Performance Camp

Set in the 1920s, this high energy camp teaches singing, acting & choreography - including TAP!
Adults can get in on the fun also, by auditioning for the community cast. You can find more information on our Community Audition page.
Ages: 9-17
Camp Dates: July 15th – August 2nd - students will have additional tech rehearsals August 5, 6, and 7 (times TBD with tech needs).
Camp Time: 9am – 3pm (includes lunch and 2 snacks daily)
Auditions: Students will need to audition in advance for this camp on June 10 or 11 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Please come with a prepared song. Bring your background track, as no accompaniment will be provided. We will also do cold readings.
Please contact us if special audition time is needed. Students registering after this date will receive a role in the ensemble. Millie is a heavy ensemble show and will include lots of singing and dancing.
Call Back Auditons: Teen callbacks will be June 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

August 11 at 2:00 pm
Off-Stage Opportunities: Students 12 and older who would like to work in backstage/technical aspects of theatre are encouraged to join camps. These students will help with props, curtain, set construction, costuming, lighting, sound and stage management. They will learn beside the director and be involved in the show behind the scenes. Students must be 12 years old to help with tech. Please specify your child's interest(s) in the registration link.
Cost: $275 ($50 deposit + $225 balance)
$50 deposit due with registration. Balance due July 15th. Includes 2 parent tickets.
Optional add ons - Show T-shirt $15 Archive DVD: $15 Order forms will be available on first day of camp.
Balance for all camps is due on first day of camp. Deposits are non-refundable within 2 weeks prior to start of camp.
It is our desire to makes the arts accessible to all students. In keeping with that mission, the Beth Overgaauw Youth Theatre Scholarship fund provides financial aide for arts classes for kids. Millie is a heavy ensemble show and ensemble roles will include lots of singing and dancing and potentially also include a few lines. Classes and Camps are limited in size. Registration will be closed when capacity is reached..
*Students from any school system or homeschool/co-op are welcome to audition/register
**Sibling Discounts for camps are $10 off of camp for the second (or more) child in a family. Multi camp discounts are $10 off the registration of a second camp by same student. (may not combine on same camp)
