Board Chairman Mr. Rusty Blair grew up right across the street from Centre Square and has worked with the Arts Center for many years as a parent of an active student in Kentucky Classic Arts programming. Building sets and working concessions naturally flowed into becoming an active member of the board. You can see Mr. Blair's smiling face just about any day at Job Master Rental in Lebanon. If you need him at night come by the theatre as he is often here painting or building something incredible.
Board Treasurer Ms. Kathy Mattingly oversees the books, maintains the budget, works the box office and manages ticketing for events at Centre Square.. A former accountant at St. Catharine’s College, Springview Hospital, and R. L. Schrieber Foods, she is currently serving at Citizens National Bank in her hometown of Lebanon, KY.
Board Secretary Mrs. Nannie Hill is a graduate of WKU with a degree in Theatre Stage Management and Costuming. A mother of three girls, Mrs. Hill runs a daycare and also finds time to volunteer evenings helping costume children's theatre. Her background in theatre is a great asset to Kentucky Classic Arts theatre program and sometimes we even get her onto the stage. .
Lynn D. Farris
Board Chairman Mr. Lynn D Farris has a M.A. in English. He is a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ky., and retired from teaching English at Marion County High School where he also ran the drama and speech departments for many years. After retirement, Mr. Farris taught in a local private school and was a founding member of the former Lebanon Community Theatre. These days you will find Mr. Farris hard at work promoting the arts both on and off the stage.
Pati Howard McCann
Board Member Mrs. Pati McCann is a lifetime resident of Lebanon where she and her husband Tim own Freedom Tire in Lebanon. After working for years at the former Arista Movie Theatre owned by father, she knows how much work is involved behind the scenes if the show “must go on”. Although Pati can be seen ushering at events, most of the time she is in the wings or in the background doing anything and everything else that need to be done. With a Degree in Set Design and backstage experience working around theatre, Pati is an invaluable resource when it comes to staging a show.
Board Member Mr. Joey Stewart is a local attorney with Ted Lavit and Associates located just across the street from Centre Sqaure on N. Spalding Ave. Joey and his wife have three daughters and are actively involved in events and programming at Kentucky Classic Arts. Joey has even graced the stage playing, of all things, an attorney in the drama 12 Angry Men. Although Joey brings much levity to the board, we hear that in his former life he was the lead singer in a band. We look forward to seeing on the stage in a musical in the near future.
